Select Categorical Fields dialog

To display this dialog, open the data source node options dialog, choose the select manually categorical fields option, then click on the select button.

If you are loading data from a CSV text file and have not flagged categorical (text) field headings with an asterisk, this dialog enables you separate the fields into 2 types: numeric and categorical (text).

Numeric

This window lists all the field headings that are available in the CSV text file that you have loaded into WITNESS Miner.

Highlight a field in the numeric window, then click on the > button to transfer that field heading from the numeric window to the categorical window.

Click on this button to transfer all the field headings from the numeric window to the categorical window.
